Casey James from "American Idol 2010" the one of the top 24 contestants in Season 9 of the FOX reality singing competition. He auditioned in Denver, Colorado and sang "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" by John Mayer for his audition. Kara DioGuardi and Victoria Beckham had Casey James let down his long hair and take off his shirt after he finished singing. Simon Cowell voted no, but the other three judges voted yes to send Casey James to Hollywood.
Casey James from "American Idol" Season 9 is the lead singer and guitarist of the Casey James band, whose other members are his brother Billy James and Jacy McCann. The band made its debut in June, 2008.
He loves playing guitar and mandolin and have been a musican for the past 10 years.
Casey James is from Fort Worth, Texas, and is 27 years old.
